Perry Tree Farm, on Milton Road in Adderbury, starts selling Christmas trees on Thursday 12 November. It is the only seller near Banbury that has published its 2026 opening date so far. The farm has not put out its prices yet, so this page will be updated when it does.

Perry Tree Farm, Adderbury

The farm’s home page says to “visit us from 12th November to choose your Christmas tree”. The cut trees are what it calls “non-drop” Nordmann firs, bought in from a supplier while the farm’s own trees grow on site. It sells cut trees from 4ft to 16ft, with pot-grown trees too, and hot drinks and something sweet while you choose.

Thursday 12 November is the first day. The farm has not said when it stops selling, or whether it stays open on Christmas Eve.

Santa’s grotto: the same page lists Christmas trees, wreaths, decorations and a visit to Santa’s grotto under “Festive fun”, marked “coming soon”. There are no grotto dates or prices yet. Other places to see Father Christmas are on our Santa’s grotto page.

Is it the same farm as the pumpkins? Yes. Perry Tree Farm runs the pumpkin patch that has been open through October; see Halloween in Banbury. It is not dog friendly during the pumpkin season because of its livestock, and it has not said whether that applies at Christmas.

Getting there

Adderbury is on the A4260 south of Banbury. Check our roadworks and travel page before you set off, and if you are combining the trip with the town centre, see parking in Banbury.

Getting rid of it in January

Cherwell District Council collects real trees from the kerbside in the first half of January. For last Christmas the window was Tuesday 6 to Friday 16 January 2026, on your recycling collection day. The council’s notice from 31 December 2025 set the rules:

  • Take every decoration off.
  • Cut any tree over five feet tall in half.
  • If you pay for garden waste, put it in the brown bin; if not, leave it beside the blue recycling bin.

The trees go to a site at Ardley to be composted for farmers. The council has not announced the January 2027 dates yet; they will go on our Christmas bin collections page when it does.

What we are still waiting for

  • Perry Tree Farm’s 2026 prices and the last day of sales.
  • Grotto dates at Perry Tree Farm.
  • Any other tree seller near Banbury publishing its 2026 dates.
